But it is also a declaration of love for the chef’s hometown, recalling the phrase Tauro Mia — My Taormina. It is the name our chef chose for his craft beer, a symbol of passion and belonging to his city.

The idea was born during one of his road trips through South America. At dinner, every city he visited had its own local beer — one that told the story of the place, its people, and its traditions. After studying brewing techniques in several international breweries, the chef decided to create a beer that speaks about his own land: the passion for his city, the smoking Etna, and the blooming Sicilian gardens. This is how Tauromia was born: an American Pale Ale with a fruity character, featuring notes of citrus and orange blossom, with tropical fruit aromas that evoke his travels through South America.

Bottle-conditioned, unfiltered, and unpasteurized, it is artisanally produced in Riposto, just a few kilometers from the Ionian coast, using simple and genuine ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat malt, hops, and yeast. Fresh, vibrant, and aromatic — like an evening walk along Corso Umberto in Taormina at sunset.

Recommended Pairings with the Chef’s Signature Dishes:

Kataifi Prawns with Orange and Teriyaki Sauce

Sicilian Impanata Stuffed with Sardines

Romagnola Pizza

Paccheri with Salmon, Pistachio, and Melted Provola

Crispy Beccafico with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Smoked Provola

Also Perfect With:
Fried seafood, arancini, pizza, and Sicilian street food.
