Our cooking courses offer you the chance to practise your culinary skills and to take the sicilian culinary art with you. All this is possible thanks to our excellent chefs, who will add the true sicilian flavour to your holidays your holiday the true Sicilian flavour.

Giovanni

Chef and Founder of Restaurant Pirandello 2.0

A graduate in Economics, originally from Catania and madly in love with his city.
He is married and loves animals, in particular his puppy Gina.

Generous, altruist, a lover of traditional Sicilian cuisine and with a dream: buying a house in the countryside, tending a vineyard and creating his own brand of Etna Rosso DOC wine.

Maurizio

Sommelier and Headmaster of our cooking school

Graduated  from Hotel School, and gained experience experience in Italy and abroad in many starred restaurants in major cities such as London, New York, Rimini and Riccione.

He is nativ of from Giarre, a small town in the province of Catania,  but he has been living in Taormina for 10 years now.

Precise and always well organized, he loves travelling, entertaining people, cooking,
in particular pastry making.  He masters the art of making cannoli.

 His dream: having  a large family and setting up a cooking school for adults and children.

Stefano

Graduated in Molecular and Cellular Biology, qualified in Clinical Biochemistry but with a great passion for Sicily and its culinary tradition.
He loves discovering the world around us, travelling and is madly in love with Africa and safaris, South America and Asia.
Father of Santiago and of the lovely Golden Retriever Toky.
His dream: family and… travel, travel and travel, hopefully with Santiago and Rossana to see the Gorillas in Uganda.

Luca

Chef and Owner of Ristorante Porta Messina

A graduate of the Hotel School, wine sommelier with important experience in the best hotels in and around Taormina.
He is the real pizza and dough master.
Married, father of the wonderful Viola, Ginevra and Filippo.
Helpful, funny, great Master of Barbecue specialized in cooking lamb… and eating it too!
His dream: to write a book of ancient Sicilian recipes to tell and pass on How to make the traditional dough and bread.
